Instituto Trajetórias e Columbia SIPA

Instituto Trajetórias and Columbia SIPA, the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, have signed a strategic partnership to expand access for Brazilian talent to master’s degree programs.

Eligible Programs

The agreement between Instituto Trajetórias and Columbia SIPA provides scholarships of US$30,000 per year for students and public servants who are admitted through the university’s and the institute’s selection processes.

Additional Benefits

In addition to the reduction in tuition costs, Instituto Trajetórias has already launched scholarship calls in partnership with subnational governments. There will also be the possibility of student loans offered under more favorable conditions than those currently available in the market, granted through a partner bank.

With this flexible combination of financial support options, the institute allows each student to build the financial solution that best fits their profile.

For public servants, paid leave will be available, according to specific agreements established with partner governments.

Selection Process

To apply for the scholarship, Brazilian students must first follow the standard application procedures, meeting all admission requirements established by Columbia SIPA.

Information about the university’s admission process for international students is available at the this link.

With the launch of scholarship and financing calls made possible by Instituto Trajetórias, candidates will also need to submit an application to the institute, within the established deadlines and according to the procedures defined in the calls for applications.

Applicants who secure admission to a master’s program at Columbia SIPA and are selected by Instituto Trajetórias and its national partners will be eligible for scholarships or financing.

The funds are transferred directly to the students, who must provide proof of proper use according to the rules that will be detailed in the call for applications.
