Enap and Instituto Trajetórias launch international master’s call for federal civil servants

Escola Nacional de Administração Pública (Enap) and Instituto Trajetórias launched, on Thursday, February 12, the call for applications for the Trajetórias Program – Internationalization of Federal Civil Servants.

Applications are open until March 13, 2026. All documents must be submitted online. Preliminary results are expected to be announced by April 27.

The program aims to expand the presence of Brazilian talent in master’s programs at leading universities abroad.

This year, up to 20 federal civil servants will be selected. Those approved will be eligible to pursue in-person stricto sensu postgraduate programs (master’s degrees) at internationally renowned institutions under the Trajetórias Program, facilitating the granting of paid leave from their home agency and access to partial scholarships (tuition discounts) at partner universities.

Among other criteria, applicants must:

• Hold an undergraduate degree recognized in Brazil and occupy a permanent position within direct federal administration bodies, autonomous agencies, or public foundations.

• Have started an application process or hold an offer/admission letter from a master’s program at international universities ranked among the top 100 in the QS World University Rankings or Times Higher Education rankings, either overall or by subject/field, or maintain a recognized academic partnership under the Trajetórias Program.

• Not be in a probationary period and commit to returning and applying the knowledge acquired to contribute to improved public management and institutional strengthening.

Priority will be given to in-person postgraduate programs in the following thematic areas:

• Energy Transition, Climate and Sustainability

• Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Government

• Education

• Planning, Budget and Public Finance

• Public Policy, Evaluation and Public Sector Economics

• Productive Development, Innovation and Industrial Policy

• Infrastructure, Mobility and Territorial Planning

• Public Health, Health Systems and Health Innovation

• International Relations, Trade, Cooperation and Global Governance

Instituto Trajetórias has already established partnerships with states, municipalities and Enap to enable more than 540 scholarships over the next five years.
